Day 01 : ARRIVAL
- PARO The flight into the Himalaya reveals breathtaking
views of the great peaks MT. EVEREST, MT. KANCHANJUNGA, MT.
CHOMOLHARI, MT. JICHU DRAKI, etc. taking you right into the
Dragon Kingdom's scraping airstrip at PARO. On arrival you
will be greeted and transferred though the beautiful PARO
valley to Hotel. Evening talk & slide snow on Bhutan -
dinner & overnight at hotel. |

Day 02 : In
PARO the day begins with a visit to the ruing of DRUKGYAL
DZONG (18km). This Dzong is of historical importance, from
whose ramparts the Bhutanese repelled Tibetan invaders. On a
clear day, the 24,00 ft. white-domed peak of sacred
CHOMOLHARI (Mountain of Goddess) looms overhead. After lunch
at the hotel, visit TA DZONG, the National Museum housed in
an ancient watchtower, which has a fine collection of
ancient Thangkha painting, textiles, weapons and artifacts.

Day 03 : PARO
- THIMPO Morning scenic drive to THIMPO (2hr.). Transfer to
hotel. Afternoon, sightseeing to the MEMORIAL CHORTEN and
the late king Jigme Dorji Wangchuck in the heart of Thimpu
town, TASHICHHODZONG (the Fortress of the Auspicious
Religion). Overnight hotel. |

Day 04 : PARO
- EXCURSION TO TAKTSANG LHAKANG AM: After breakfast drive to
SARTSHAM CHORTEN and then two hours of horse riding uphill
will take you to the TAKTSANG MONASTERY. After refreshment,
a short trek to the view point to witness a fascinating
eye-level view of the famous TAKTSANG LHAKHANG also known as
the tigers nest. PM: After lunch a slow downhill trek to
SARTISHAM CHORTEN and then the drive to Hotel - Overnight at
hotel |

Day 05 : PARO
- DEPARTURE After early breakfast drive to airport departure
flight to your onward destination. |
